At SBS we encourage you to know your service provider. Request substantiation & explanation for their determinations. Make certain that your service provider secures a positive relationship with original equipment manufactures (OEM) so that they can provide firmware & hardware upgrades as recommended by those manufacturers. Above all, seek a 'qualified second opinion" when replacement systems are proposed prior to achieving their expected design life. When new recommendations are adopted, expect your service provider to attach service life contingencies to their continued maintenance contracts for those systems. At SBS, this is our SOP!
